Snowmass
Village is a pedestrian-friendly town nestled in the Brush
Creek Valley of Pitkin County, Colorado, in the heart of the
Elk Mountains and the millions of acres of the Snowmass Maroon
Bells Wilderness Area. Snowmass is only 9 miles from Aspen,
45 minutes from Glenwood Springs, and a scenic 3 1⁄2-hour
drive from Denver either direct via interstate 70 or over scenic
Independence Pass from Leadville (summer only).
From the Aspen Airport:
Turn left onto Hwy 82 and travel for approximately 2 miles. Turn left
onto Brush Creek Road (there is a traffic light) toward Snowmass Village/Snowmass
Ski Area. Follow Brush Creek for approximately 5 miles, until you reach
the Village.
From Denver and Eagle Airports:
Take I-70 West to Glenwood Springs. Take the Hwy 82 exit #116 at Glenwood
Springs toward Aspen. Follow Hwy 82 for approximately 38 miles. DO NOT
turn at the first sign for Snowmass; this will take you to Old Snowmass.
Follow the signs for Snowmass Village/Snowmass Ski Area. Turn right onto
Brush Creek Road (there is a traffic light) toward Snowmass Village/Snowmass
Ski Area. Follow Brush Creek for approximately 5 miles, until you reach
the Village.
From Grand Junction:
Take I-70 East to Glenwood Springs. Take the Hwy 82 exit #116 at Glenwood
Springs toward Aspen. Follow Hwy 82 for approximately 38 miles. DO NOT
turn at the first sign for Snowmass; this will take you to Old Snowmass.
