5th Annual Monothon, Exhibition, Dinner & Live Auction

SPECIAL EVENTS
5 – 7 PM: Monothon Preview Exhibition The fifth annual collaboration with the Anderson Ranch Patton Print Shop features over 20 monotypes created by Roaring Fork Valley and internationally known artists such as Bunny Burson, Sunni McBride, Kenny Scharf and Michael Krueger. On view March 5 – 6 in the Patton-Malott Gallery. 7 – 9 PM: Monothon Dinner and Live Auction, $30 Dinner and live print auction follow immediately in Schermer Meeting Hall. ACES Kids Naturalist Field School

Enjoy an easy two-hour guided walk along the gentle, kid-friendly Snowmass Nature Trail. A naturalist from the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) shares tips on wildflowers, animal tracks and birds.

ACES Snowshoe Tours

ACTIVITIES

Join a naturalist from ACES for a beautiful snowshoe and fascinating views of Snowmass ski area. Weave in and out of spruce-fir forest along a babbling brook and learn about the animals that inhabit the Rocky Mountains in winter. Cost includes lift ride, snack and warm drink, snowshoes, knowledgeable guide, and basic instruction. Purchase tickets at any lift ticket office. No reservations necessary. ACES also offers snowshoe tours on top of Aspen Mountain and in the Upper Castle Creek Valley from Ashcroft. Call for more information. Note: Warm clothing and boots required.
